Designing Your Site
It is important that you tell us as much about your vision for your site as possible. Imagine someone asking for a product to be designed, and all they tell them is "I want something nice looking". Pretty frustrating.
This is the same with a website - you can't expect us to know what you want; you have to tell us. If you are able to draw something of the way you want it to look, all the better.
A website is basically a fluid entity - you can have anything and everything on there that you can think of that is relevant to your business. If you have existing files or designs, these can also be used by us, provided there are no copyright issues from a previous designer.
Some website components are very technical, and may require work done by a third party. If your vision would require a third party to be involved, we will obtain a quote for any extra costs involved before proceeding.
We can create a page to sell your merchandise (including setting up an account to receive payments over the internet from Paypal (www.paypal.com).)
We can create picture galleries to show off your work. Galleries can be ultra-specialised, with anything from one gallery for the entire business, a gallery for work done by each staff member, a gallery for specific types of work, or anything else you can think of.
There should always be a page with contact details, an "about page" that talks about your business, and probably a FAQ (frequently asked questions) page - this should be written by you, or something you have permission to use. Just like most artists don't want to plagiarise another's work, you don't want your site filled with information written by someone else.
Please see the acknowledgements page for the components used to design you site.
